    The Altar of Sacrifice in three separate phases or aspects:
    The first:
    1. Visual illustration.
        The Altar of Sacrifice. Ex.27:1-8; 38:1-7
         is a type of the Cross of Christ. Col.1:20;  
         2:14 ; Heb.12:2; Jn.19:17,18
         At the Altar we see sin judged. Isa., ch.53
         God laid upon Christ the Judgment that should 
         be ours. Isa.50:5,6; Jn.3:14-16;Gal.3:13
         God made Jesus to be sin for us. 2 Cor.5:21
    2. Type of Christ.
        The Cross upon which  Jesus was Crucified.
        Col.1:20; 2:14 ; Heb.12:2; Jn.19:17,18
    3. Applied to the believer.
        Jesus died in our place. 1 Cor.15:3,4; Rom.5:6,8
    4. Believer’s responsibility.
        Come to the foot of His Cross, repent, forsake all 
        your sins and be saved.

The Second

         Upon the altar for the sacrifice of the sins of 
         the people is a type of Christ. Jn.1:29,36
         Our Lamb without blemish and without spot.

     2. Type of Christ.
         Jesus is the Sacrifice  (Lamb) of God. Jn.1:29,36
         Jesus is the Lamb of God.
         The Innocent One who died for us, the guilty. 
         1 Pet.1:18,19
         Jesus is our Perfect Sacrifice for sin. 
         1 Cor.5:7; Heb.9:26; 10:12 ; Eph.5:2; Isa.53:7,11
         Jesus is our sin bearer. Isa.53:4,6,10; Rom.5:6-8;2 
         Cor.5:21; Heb.9:2
     3. Applied to the believer.
         Jesus is our Salvation (Lamb) for sin. 2 Cor.5:19-21; 
         1 Cor.5:7
     4. Believer’s responsibility.
         Receive God’s Sacrifice (Lamb) for sins. 2 Cor.6:2

    2. Type of Christ .
        Jesus shed His Precious Innocent Blood Rom.3:24
        We have been reconciled Through the Blood of Christ.
        2 Cor.5:18,19; Col.1:20-23
    3. Applied to the believer.
        Jesus is our Blood Sacrifice for sin. 
        Lev.17:11; Heb.9:22,26,28; 10:12
        Our Atonement for sin. Rom.5:11
    4. Believer’s responsibility.
        Receive His Blood  Sacrifice. Stay cleansed,
        washed and covered under the Precious Blood  
         of Christ. 1 Jn.1:7,9
