THE CHARIOT OF JEHOVAH Ezek.1:1-28

The vision of Ezekiel is in nine sections.
First, I will give the description of God's Chariot.;
Second, I will give the appearance of His Chariot;
Third, I will give the meaning of His Chariot;   

In all three I will give the facts first;
then I will give the details;     

The Lord gives Ezekiel visions of His glory.
Description:

Ezekiel said,
“The heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.” vss.1-4
________

The word of the LORD came expressly to Ezekiel.
The hand of the LORD was there upon him.
________

First the facts:
A world wind came out of the north. It was a great cloud.
In the center of the cloud was a Fire.
In the center of the Fire was an amber mass.
Out of the amber mass came four living cherubim.
________

Now, the details:

1. CLOUD, (White).
    A whirlwind came out of the north. It was a great cloud.                          

2. FIRE,
     There was a Fire within the cloud. The Cloud formed a white tinge around the Fire
     that kept it within the Cloud. The Fire came out of the center and spread out all
     around to the inside edge of the Cloud and enfolded itself back to the center of the
     Fire.

     The fire never escaped from the cloud. It issued and then returned in upon itself. It 
     was in a state of powerful agitation, but always involving itself, or returning back
     to the center from where it appeared to issue. There was a brightness around the
     Fire of blue and yellow.

    A fine tinge of light surrounded the cloud, beyond which the fire and radiance did
    not proceed.

    The Fire gave off a radiance to the inside edge of the Cloud very bright blue and
    yellow. So, there was a radiance between the fire and the Cloud.

    The Fire is the Shekinah Glory, God’s Holy Spirit.

3. AMBER MASS
    In the center of the fire (laboring flame) was as the color of amber.
    It was yellowish orange. 1:4, 27; 8:2
    (Everything described in the vision is located in the center of the 
     amber mass).

4. Cherubim: gold /
    Feet, copper color (reddish orange).
   
    So, we see:
    a. Cloud.
    b. Radiance.
    c. Fire.
    d. Amber mass.
    
    The amber-colored mass was the center of the fire.
    The fire was in the center of the radiance and the
    radiance was the center of the cloud. Also out of the midst of the  
    amber-colored mass center came four living cherubim.
