Ps.23:1-6
“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures:
He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul: He leads me in the paths of
righteousness for His name's sake.Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow
of death, I will fear no evil: for God is with me; His rod and His staff they comfort me.
He prepares a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: He anoints my head with oil;
my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.”

God is our true Friend:
Abraham was a friend of God, and he was the father of a nation.
Moses was a friend of God, and he led a nation.
Jesus said, “You are My friends, if you do whatsoever I command you." Jn.15:14
If we are friends of God. Our relationship with Him is:
Father and son; Teacher and disciple; Redeemer and redeemed; Shepherd and sheep;
We shall not want, (for our needs).
Jesus our good shepherd.
He knows our names;
The very hairs of our heads are numbered.
Jesus takes care of His sheep.
He said, I AM “The door of the sheep.” Jn.10:7
Our heavenly Father knows what we have need of, before we ask of Him.
The righteous shall never be forsaken.
In the wilderness journey the children of Israel never lacked, they wanted,
but they never lacked.
They were fed manna from heaven.
We follow Jesus, because we know His voice. We will not follow the voice of a stranger,
but will flee from a strange voice. Jn.10:4, 5
Jesus fulfills all of our needs. Mt.6:32
Our Shepherd knows what His sheep need. His Bread from heaven and His water of life.
through the hole, all of the sheep will follow.
A bell sheep is one that leads. Jesus is our Bell sheep;
Follow means to chase after. Lets follow Jesus, because God’s goodness and mercy shall
follow us all the days of our lives.
Jesus is: The Lamb of God; The Good Shepherd; Our Great High Priest;
God has prepared a table for us. Our cup runs over. We are His guests.
